P.R. Arguindegui founded Arguindegui Oil Company in April 1942. Pete Arguindegui, Sr., began as a Commission Agent for Continental Oil Co., serving customers in the South Texas area. He grew the business successfully and was joined by his sons Peter, Jr. and Charlie, Sr., during the mid-fifties. In April 1970, the business began operating as an independent jobbership and as closely held Texas corporation to Peter, Jr. and Charlie, Sr.. Today, the Company management team consists of a group of young, yet experienced and aggressive individuals, including third generation Arguindegui's. The Company has grown by thirty-fold since incorporation. Management's mission is continued growth/expansion to the point of becoming a dominant regional distributorship in retail and wholesale fuels and lubricants.
